Nocturne is a full digital audio workstation for the desktop — recording, editing, mixing and mastering in one window. It is designed around a low-latency engine and an interface that stays readable at 2am, with none of the visual noise that gets in the way of a long session.
What it does
Low-latency engine
A multi-threaded audio graph that keeps round-trip latency predictable as the track count climbs.
Non-destructive editing
Every edit, comp and fade stays reversible. The source audio on disk is never rewritten.
Plugin host
Industry-standard plugin formats load in a sandboxed process, so a misbehaving plugin cannot take the session down with it.
Built for long sessions
A dark, low-glare interface with high-contrast metering and type that stays legible at small sizes.
